adam1 Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Now just before I get shot down for being too optimistic - we've had blips before and we've bounced back with great runs. The blip isn't at the end of the season and so our great run will extend to Wembley.... or the automatics Getting tickets for the play-off semis will be hard and it won't make a difference who we are playing against. Home tickets will sell out on the day they go on general sale and away tickets - members 11am. As for Wembley though please speculate. Will the club will have a system where if you brought tickets for the semis or perhaps the last 3 home games of the season (are they doing this?) then you will get prioriy. Will I have to queue all night to get a ticket (if ticket office only on general/members sale). Will I be able to buy 2 tickets? UTF
calum_lcfc Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Tempting fate abit mate!! I can't see the club changing the way it operates for the play offs either semi or final. It will go Pri 1 on Monday to General on Friday
john_lcfc Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Im pretty sure the away leg of any play off semi would go on P2 day maybe very early on P3 day. Literally everybody would want tickets.
davieG Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 The busy Easter period is now here, and for those attending City's final three home games are reminded to retain their ticket stubs. Just received this in their latest newsletter, it doesn't explain why, surprise, surprise so I assume it's got something to do with the play-offs should we reach them. Just had confirmation from the ticket office: Thank you for your email, we are advising all supporters to keep hold of their ticket stubs between now and the end of the season incase of any extra games that may be played after this period. I presume this may will come into effect after P1, P2, P3 for non season ticket holders or something like that.
calum_lcfc Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Yeah that sounds about right maybe Mon - Pri 1, Tues - Pri 2, Weds - Pri 3, Thurs - Members, Fri - People with Stubs, Mon - Anyone But like its been said, Play off away would go probs pri 2 especially if its Forest - gutted for me I am pri 3
Ford Super Sunday Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Here, have a map of wembley as well so you can plan your seat, even if we're not getting there
eleven points Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Prices will be quite a bit more than that. Was around 90 quid for the red section last year.
Katy Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 Seriously can't think about this yet, even after today's massive performance. Dare to Dream though and all that.
samjohnson Posted 5 April 2010 Posted 5 April 2010 All aboard the optomistic bus! Why cant we make the playoffs! btw: Ill be in the green... "Cheapo Army!"
Daggers Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Delete thread. Has this clear instruction still not been carried out yet?
Head Honcho Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Here, have a map of wembley as well so you can plan your seat, even if we're not getting there Blimey those prices are cheaper then Stamford Bridge!
ramboacdc Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 best get my climbing gear out as im heading for the nosebleeds!
Craig Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Last years ticket prices. £62 to sit in a seat similar to that where I sit at the Walkers
thybluefox Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Last years ticket prices. £62 to sit in a seat similar to that where I sit at the Walkers £98/£74 for me, jeebus.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 From what I've been reading from clubs who have been to wembley (and people on here who have been can confirm or rubbish this) the blocks around the edges of the stadium (i.e. 506-512, 515-520) that area near the front has the best views, while the first eight rows of the lower tier behind the goal offers a poor view. Also, if we somehow got to Wembley, you don't want to be sitting on the lower tier in the east stand, especially if it's a sunny day, else you'll have your hand cupped over your forehead for the entire match!
davieG Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Last years ticket prices. £62 to sit in a seat similar to that where I sit at the Walkers Outrageous pricing and a total piss take considering their drive to turn football into a family day out, talk about taking advantage of a captive audience.
C-man Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 If we get to Wembley there's only one place I'm going and that's behind the goal, level 1. Decent dates they are. Waayy before exams
purpleronnie Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 If we get to Wembley there's only one place I'm going and that's behind the goal, level 1. Whys that, I'd love to see loads of leicester standing but even teams who have fans standing every game struggle to stand in numbers at wembley, I think villa and leeds the only 2 clubs with lots of standing. But maybe you want to go there for another reason. The only time I went to the new wembley thats where I was and the view was pretty poor.

Hmm, I've seen Southampton, Cambridge and Millwall all stood behind the goal and realistically it's the only place we would stand should we get there. I went to the Paint Pot final and thought the view was decent and Carlisle even managed to get a few thousand up in the second half.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 United have a lot standing at Wembley behind the goal. Play Off Final is the same day as the Champs League Final isnt it? May 22nd?
